            The EOTech EXPS3-4 has been developed to optimize the functionality of the holographic weapon sight (HWS). The buttons have been moved from the back to the left side for instant access, allowing a magnifier, night vision or a backup iron sight to fit closely to the HWS body. This new button position allows the user to operate the HWS function switches easier than ever before. The EXPS3-4 is configured with a new ballistic matching reticle image for the M4 carbine. The battle tested circle dot reticle will be offered along with a series of 1 MOA aiming dots that are vertically aligned and calibrated specifically for the ballistic drop of .223 caliber ammunition. The illuminated reticle is configured with a 65 MOA circle and four 1 MOA aiming dots. The reticle provides 4 aiming dots for target distances of 0-300m, 400m, 500m, and 600m. The use of a magnifier is strongly recommended.

            Because it's powered by a single transverse-mounted CR123A battery, the EXPS3-4 is shorter than the N and AA battery versions - yet it delivers the same parallax-free sighting capabilities. This sight requires a mere 2.75" of rail space, and the battery compartment is separated from the base to allow it to fit over the Delta Ring of most M16/AR15 platform firearms. The battery cap is a simple screw-type cover that's O-ring sealed and tethered to the housing. Plus with the average battery life being between 500 to 600 hours, you can be sure the EOTech EXPS3-4 HWS, IS ALWAYS ready for action at any moment, whether day or night.

            The EOTech EXPS3-4 Extreme HWS is the shortest, lightest holographic weapon sight on the market today, and allows for an elevated level of precision in short to medium range tactical environments like never before.

            Designed for today's modern battlefield; the EXPS3-4 is submersible to a depth of 10', and it's repeatable to 2 MOA after remounting. The rear window is a 3/16" thick shatterproof laminate with anti-glare and scratch resistant coatings, and the front lens is 1/8" solid glass. The waterproof and fog-proof design will withstand tough environments and perform in any tactical environment.

            The “E” is for “Extreme. The EXPS3-4 offers true 2-eyes-open shooting and a 7 mm raised base that still allows for iron sight access. It features easy-to-adjust side buttons and an adjustable, locking, quick-detach lever for easy attachment and removal.

EXPS3 was chosen by the U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) as their primary optic for close-quarter engagements.

            It is also the optic of choice for the technologically advanced modern rifle hunter. Its night vision-compatibility makes it a versatile choice for day or night hunting.
