“This is an ULTRA RARE Knight's QDC 5.56 Full-size Suppressor (121567-BLK)”

KAC’s Pressure Reduction Technology (PRT) Signature Reduction Device line

Blends the proven durability and acoustic performance of the previous generation of

KAC suppressors with pressure reduction design.

These suppressors are specifically engineered to release the majority of the pressure,

Contained in the device and bore prior to the operating system beginning extraction,

Which significantly reduces the negative effects of suppressor integration,

And reduces felt recoil compared to a traditional suppressor with the same level of sound reduction.

Muzzle flash, and specifically first-round flash, has also been directly addressed

And minimized with the PRT design. The Quick Disconnect (QDC) mounting method ensures

Reduced carbon-lock, as well as minimal but repeatable point of impact shift,

When transitioning between suppressed and unsuppressed configurations.

For interval maintenance, the PRT devices can be cleaned with commonly used,

Bore solvents or ultrasonic tank cleaning with a water rinse.

The Knight's Armament 5.56 QDC/CRS-PRT connects to all 5.56 QDC Muzzle Devices.

Product Description: The full-sized Combat Rifle Suppressor (CRS)

What is designed to virtually eliminate flash in system, back pressure,

 While exceeding the durability that

KAC signature reduction devices are known for.

Pressure Reduction Technology (PRT) minimizes back pressure,

Resulting in a negligible gas increase in the system that is typically responsible

For the bolt carrier velocity and right-of-fire acceleration.

This technology also pushes noxious gases forward, away from the user,

Increasing comfort and reducing harmful exposure.

A novel baffle design mitigates acoustic and flash signature,

Resulting in the elimination of "first round pop" in both flash and sound,

With exceptional overall flash reduction.

The Quick Detach Coupling (QDC) ensures, minimal and consistent

Point of impact (POI) shift, as is compatible with all KAC QDC muzzle devices.

A removable protective shroud that integrates with the suppressor locking collar is available.

The 5.56 QDC/CRS-PRT provides optimal signature reduction in both flash and sound,

While adding less than 4.15" (10.55 cm) and 19.2 oz. (545 g) to the host system.

Pressure Management: To reduce the negative effects of suppressor,

Use, pressure, reduction, technology (PRT) suppressors,

Release contained system, pressure forward and away from

The user and operating parts early in the unlocking an extraction phase of the cycle of operation.

This venting process drastically reduce his user exposure to harmful combustion gases,

Reduces the "blowback" effect of residual, bore pressure and decreases the internal fouling.

Compared to a traditional baffle design of similar size.

Signature Reduction: In 2017 KAC began a study to determine and address,

The cause of first-round flash with suppressor use. While purging the suppressor with,

An inner gas was successful in reducing the first round flash, it would be cumbersome for practical use.

The solution was found any novel baffle matrix, that uses the,

Blast pulse of the contained pressure to mechanically remove the combustible environment<

from the suppressor. This patent pending design effectively reduces spectrum flash,

As well as near, short-wave, and mid-wave IR "Infrared"; and eliminates the need for flash suppressant in propellants.

KAC's "purge" technology does not impact system pressure or sound pressure levels, but does illuminate first round flash,

As well as the audible "first round pop" found with traditional suppressors.

Durability: Advancement in simulation, analysis and manufacturing processes,

Have also contributed to increased service life of KAC’s suppressors.

Thermal energy is spread through the monolithic structure on internal paths, eliminating “hot spots”

That can fail during extreme use. When tested under continuous-fire protocols,

The suppressors indoor 1. 5–2 times the number of rounds fired before failure;

And one failure occurs, the structural design ensures that all energy is projected down range,

Wth, no lateral escape of fragments or debris.
